Furlough Day #4

Man I an so glad this week is almost over it has been nice but I'm ready to go back to work. Chase asked me today when he could go back to daycare he is tired of being home he wants to go see his friends at daycare. Last night I was thinking wow since Forrest is not here to wake me up in the morning maybe I will sleep in so I let Chase stay up a little later than normal and thought by day #4 I should be able to sleep in. Well that did not happen my sister in Indiana called at 7:30 and then she felt bad that she woke me up oh well it was good to talk to her and a good way to wake up. So I went to the chiropractor this morning and this afternoon I'm going to strip and wax my floor I have not done it in a year so that will be good I was hoping for warmer weather this week so I could clean carpets but I guess that will have to wait. Tonight we are going to go watch Talon play baseball so hopefully I will have some new pics to post tomorrow.

Furlough Day #3

So it is currently snowing and I hate this I wish spring would come back. So this week is about to get lonely, my mom and dad are headed to McCall for a hospital meetings. Forrest, his dad and little brother Colby are headed for California. To break up the boredom I am babysitting my nephews this afternoon so my sister-in-law can go to the doctor and that will give Chase somebody different to play with for a couple of hours and then Becky will watch Chase to I can go tanning I guess it is the only way I'm going to get warm today at least.

Furlough Day #2

So it is Tuesday and it is raining like crazy and by tomorrow it is suppose to be snowing yes we have a winter storm warning for the next 24 hours. So much for doing anything outside this week. I was hoping to go watch Talon (Rashelle's oldest) play baseball tonight and run Chase's energy out at the park but so much for that too. Well today I cut my mom's hair and I have to get all Forrest laundry done from the weekend so he can get packed. He leaves tomorrow for Redding CA. for the next big tournament and this one is outside and it is suppose to rain 3 out of the 4 days he is going to be there. After so many years of the rain making this tournament hard and not fun you would think they would move this one to June or something, oh well. I'm hoping to get a chance to finish cleaning Chase's closet and get started on mine as well. Forrest and his dad are going to go tow the pickup home tonight so I hope the snow holds off until they get back.

Furlough Day #1

So most of you know that the company that I work for is having all salary people take a week long furlough (a week without work and pay) to save money so this week is my turn. So it is a little weird not to have to do something for work for a whole week. I don't think that I have time off like this since I had Chase and when I had Chase I did not have the job that I have now either.
So Friday Forrest left to go over to the Boise area to go turkey hunting with friends and on the way home last night the truck died and I had to pick him up in Burley (2.5 hours away) at 10:00 last night we did not get home until about 2:30 this morning so I guess I was glad I got to sleep till 8 this morning but it could not come a worst time money wise. One good thing that did happen this morning is my passport came in the mail so that was exciting and now the count down is really on.
So today I went and filed for unemployment in Idaho you have to wait for a week before you get paid so This will be my waiting week and then if we have to do this again I can draw unemployment the next time. Also on the docket for the day is cleaning the house and organizing Chase's closet and making a cake with Chase's he thinks making cakes are fun so thar will keep us busy today.

Spring has Sprung

at least for a minute anyway... Spring that is. So this weekend was the first really good one we have had and I hope that means there is more to come but around here you never know. So I'm sure most of you didn't know I got a trip to Costa Rica from my in laws for Christmas. April said it was going to be a trip for me and a girl friend. Forrest travels all the time and I always stay home and take care of Chase so Forrest has to say home and take care of Chase. So we finally booked our trip this week we are going May 20th - May 25th me and Rashelle are so excited and already can't wait to go. We are still waiting on our passports we turned those in the last part of March so they should be showing up any day now. This trip will be a firsts for both of us leaving the country and Rashelle's first flying on a plane. I love to fly so I can't wait to go with her and see her reaction when we take off. Well anyway here are a few pics of Chase over the last few days and more to come now that it is getting warm.
