Christmas

So we had a great Christmas and it has been a great 5 days off work but now that I'm heading back to work I decided that I better post some pics for those who were not there. I forgot my camera on Christmas Eve when the whole family was together we started out with a craft for the kids while the rest of visited with Melissa and her family on the web cam. Melissa and John let Carly open one present while we watched on the computer she was so animated and cute I wish they could have been here with us. Then we had a nice dinner and talked about Christmas memories that we remembered as a kid. It was fun to have everyone there. But little did we know that would be the last time we would see each other for Christmas because we got a huge snow storm and the wind was blowing and we got a at least a foot of snow maybe more I could not even get get out of the drive way the drift was up to the bottom of my windows of my Rendezvous. So needless to say no one went any where well except Forrest and Colby (Forrest's half brother) Jerry (Forrest's dad) drove and they took the big diesel pickup they went to the airport their Christmas gift from Jerry and April was a hunting trip in Texas for 6 days. So here we are in all this snow and Forrest and Colby are in sunny and warm Texas not that I'm bitter or any thing :) Especially since that was not the end of our snow we got at least 10 more inches on Saturday and it has been snowing off and on all day today. I'm just glad the weather people have been wrong about the wind they said we were suppose to have. Well enough about the crappy weather and on with the pics. These are from Christmas morning.

Grandma Lonna bought a Nintendo DS for Chase back in November but "Santa" had to borrow it on Christmas Eve so he could make some upgrades to it so he reopened it on Christmas again and it was like all new :)

Thanksgiving Day

Well after a few technical difficulties I can finally post pics of Thanksgiving. This year we did a few things different we had it at Aunt Patrees's house and we did not have a traditional meal. We had Cornish Game Hens and home made stuffing no stove top this year and no pie. It was a little different not having the same things as always. But new traditions can be ok too. Here are a few pics.

before dinner the kids were playing on the stairs like we use to do when we were small oh the memories that we have at that house.

Uncle Mark he has been away at Utah State and we need to fatten him up there is not much left of him.
