I know it has been awhile since I posted because it has been a crazy month. Ever since we got Chase healed up things have been going a 100 mph. We have been to Vegas for 4 days to a Archery Trade Show and tournament. Forrest dropped 3 points so no shoot-off for him this year maybe next year. The shoot-off for the grand prize consisted of 18 guys and took forever it took a total of 15 rounds to finally get a winner. It was a nail biter let me tell ya. Then when we drove home on Monday and almost died. Ok, not really but Forrest did scare the crap out of me while I was sleeping and he was driving. Let's back up and tell the whole story.
So after diving for a couple of hours on the worst roads I have been on for quite awhile (we went up a mountain pass at 10 mph and semi-trucks were getting stuck because the incline was to steep and there was to much ice on the road that they were literally just stopped. After awhile I was just so tired so I pulled over and let Forrest drive and I went to sleep well the next thing I know I woke up spinning and needless to say I screamed. Forrest was driving a little fast for the road conditions and the wind was blowing across the highway and we did a cookie. In Forrest defense he did manage to keep up on the road so we did not get stuck or anything but I thought I was going to die for a moment or two. I let him drive a little further and then I drove the rest of the way. After we got home it has been a race to catch up and keep up. Forrest just went to another show last weekend and is leaving for state and sectionals this weekend and then has to go to nationals the week after. After that he will be home for at least a month before he has to go again. My work has been crazy busy and Chase is going going going. I will try to post new pics soon.
